Hi, I am Rhonda, and so happy to share and teach about the beautiful Young Living oils. I have been with the company since 2018, and from almost day one, have wanted to share the wonderful benefits the oils provide. They can be truly life-changing if you actually use them. 🙂
I have found these to be the most common begginer customer inquiries when getting started.
*MLM company: While Young Living has been defined as a Multi-Level Marketing company, it is no different than most businesses. You buy a product, and the person selling it makes a commission. Young Living does not push Brand Partners to do anything they are uncomfortable doing. It is all about teaching and sharing the love of beautiful oils.
Options for beginners or returning customers when purchasing oils or other Young Living Products.
- Order products directly from the website and pay full retail.
- Order products through a brand partner with no obligation, but they receive a commission.
- First order purchase of $100 or more to unlock 24% off the retail price. The only requirement to continue savings is to purchase $50 of the product once a year. You are never required to sell or recruit people unless you so desire. You can remain a customer or not.
NOTE: People sometimes confuse Pyramid selling, which focuses on recruiting people to “buy” in for profits. Young Living’s network marketing is about educating and sharing the love for these powerful healing products.
*Are the oils safe?: As noted above, always use your intuition and research the individual oils for their purposes. Most essential oils in stores are more like perfume and not of pure grade. Not all essential oils are the same. I recommend a basic smell test with most oil brands and compare them to Young Living. You will immediately smell the high quality of YL oils. Essential Oils have been used for centuries and referenced in the Bible over 200 times. Has me wondering how they are now considered to be alternative medicine.
*The expense for such a small bottle: Yes, some oils can be very costly. A 5ml bottle of rose oil is about $280 retail and $215 with a YL discount. It takes 22 pounds of rose petals to produce one bottle. And trust me, it is a lovely scent. However, there are lots of oils that are very affordable. * Can oils really assist in healing? This again is about listening to your intuition. Start small and test each oil. Research and give it time. We have become a conditioned society to look for the next quick fix. Young Living essential oils work with the entire body system and have produced incredible results for many people. *How to use: A few quick ways to get started:
- Inhale – a drop on your wrist, deep breaths from the bottle, or a few drops added to a diffuser
- Topically – apply directly to the skin or dilute with a carrier oil such as castor oil.
- Ingest – toss a couple of drops in water, food dishes, or a gelatin capsule
NOTE: YL white vitality bottles make it easy to determine which oils can be ingested. Never ingest the Grocery Store’s toxic stuff. Although Young Living has their Seed to Seal requirements, which means quality products from quality sources, and all oils are above organic standards. It is crucial to tap into your intuition and feel what is best for you and your body.
