Her Unraveling Life
She felt like dying. She felt like strangling some people. Ok, a lot of people. Yet she was grieving the loss of these people and a certain person. All still alive. They weren’t taken from her by death. But by choice.
They say it is harder to grieve the loss of someone who is still alive. So that is probably one of the reasons why it is illegal to kill. Of course, she is only trying to find humor in the thick of this grief.
She has never hurt like this. It is pain worse than labor because it is wrapped around her heart. At least with labor, there is a beautiful bundle of joy.
Joy is not a word she recognizes anymore.
Laughter and smiles are a distant memory. She was fooled into thinking her life was that great. She was very good at playing the game of life. Someone once told her she was a chameleon, which was a compliment back in the day.
She could fit in anywhere.
Smile, make conversation with anyone, and tell great jokes. She could be very entertaining. Though some might disagree.
She didn’t care what they thought!
These were her chronicles!
She can and will say whatever she wants.
