If you haven’t attended the annual Winter White Party; this is the year to start. The remarkable event will be held on January 27th from 6:00-8:30 is an amazing benefit for Tracy’s Sanctuary House.
Tracy’s is an adorable house located in Bismarck ND that provides a home away from home to out-of-town family members while a loved one is staying or receiving treatment at a local hospital. Families are provided a comfortable and private place while not worrying about the high costs of a hotel. That’s right, affordable. Tracy’s Sanctuary does have a suggested $25 donation a night (however no one will be turned away if they are unable to pay) to these families but otherwise relies solely on donations from the community to thrive making this incredible place even more incredible. With the Winter White event a few weeks away, this gives you time to prepare.
Here are 3 reasons why to attend:
1. Grab a friend:
Or a group of friends if you are having a hard time choosing and are extremely popular. Then make a date to go shopping. Well, that is part of the preparation and fun. Head to downtown Bismarck to all the local shopping to help you and your friends find the perfect white attire. You could also shop in one another’s closets and see how creative you can be. Now wearing white isn’t a requirement and you won’t be turned away at the door but it sure does add some light and fun to the event.

2. Get You Out:
The winter white party is at the end of January and is the perfect time to get out of your house. It gives you a reason to dress up and plan an evening out. Maybe a date night with your sweetie or a time for your friends to all hang out together. Together you can enjoy the food, drinks, games, and music provided by a few members of Arioso Music Academy Bismarck.
During the dark nights of North Dakota, we tend to stay hunkered in our warm houses which can cause some winter blues. By attending this event it will lift your spirits and brighten your night with dazzling white décor in the lovely airy atrium at Bismarck’s Heritage Center. It will have you feeling like you have stepped into another place.
3. To Give Back:
If you are like me, it is incredible to be able to give back to my community. And what better way to give than to be at this fabulous event. It reminds us that charitable contributions aren’t just for Christmas time. There will be plenty of options with all the wonderful silent auction items. Or you can give a monetary donation if that is more your jam. Plus, you can enter for a chance to win a gorgeous necklace donated by Riddle’s Jewelry.
Tracy’s Sanctuary is not funded by any government monies and relies solely on generous donors like you. What a good feeling to know your donations are supporting a local cause and community.
